About Joan Miró
Joan Miró, who was born in Barcelona in 1893, is considered one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. He was influenced by the surrealist poets in Paris in the 1920s and later by abstract expressionism in New York, among others. Most of his work is abstract, which will provide a serious challenge to many of us, but there are a few less abstract works from early in his career.
There is no charge for this workshop. You may register via email at writeekphrastic@gmail.com.
